How to get site collection local term set or specific term set in SharePoint 2013 term store management.

When we are going to term store management to create term sets , terms ,cross site collection etc…. we con’t able to see “local set”.


     Navigate to Site Settings -> site Administration -> Term Store Management.    




We can site collection Local term site by creating custom list. now will check how to get Specific term set.Navigate  to site collection -> add an app


   Search custom list and create custom list.


Go to list -> on ribbon ->select list settings.


Click on Create Column ( By creating Managed meta data column(Customize term set) we can get Specific term set)..as shown in figure.

Click on “Ok” .Now go to site settings -> Site administration -> term store management .now we can able see local term set.
